As we celebrate our 50th year, we are pleased to offer open enrollment opportunities for Conner Partners’ core Strategy Execution Framework (SEF) training including our Realizing Major Change bootcamp and our Basic Application-Level Strategy Execution Framework (SEF) Certification.

Realizing Major Change is a two-day introductory level program that is also a pre-requisite to our Certification program. Our SEF Certification program is a deeper learning journey focused on the application of the key components of the Conner Strategy Execution Framework. We offer the option of selecting the Realizing Major Change program as a stand-alone exposure level experience or selecting our bundle that includes both Realizing Major Change and SEF Certification.  More details below.

  • This two-day introductory level training is focused on providing participants with an understanding of:

    • The critical issues that separate successful and unsuccessful organizational change and transformation initiatives

    • How to identify and manage the critical risks of executing transformational change

    • How to replicate the patterns seen in successful change execution

    The program is based on Conner Partners’ five decades of research and consulting and our Strategy Execution Framework (SEF). The Framework is focused on achieving change realization – that is, fulfilling the desired business outcomes and promise of the change. It is a highly interactive professional development program that includes introduction to SEF principles and concepts, combined with multiple opportunities to experience initial exposure to SEF tools and resources, and begin to explore how to apply SEF to strategic change initiatives. Participants work in breakout teams with a dedicated Conner facilitator and have full group discussions with all participants and the Conner Partners facilitator team. Further, the Bootcamp lays the foundation to the value of incorporating a common change execution framework and language into the organization.

    The two-day format is targeted for professionals directly involved in implementing and/or supporting strategic change and transformation initiatives. The Bootcamp also serves as pre-requisite for those interested in continuing onto Basic Application-Level SEF Certification.

  • Requires previous completion of Realizing Major Change Bootcamp

    The primary intent of SEF Certification is to prepare individuals to apply and execute best practices in supporting their organizations’ or their clients’ strategic change and transformation initiatives. It prepares individuals to leverage the SEF and its principles, concepts, and tools. Basic Application-Level SEF Certification includes participation in the Realizing Major Change Bootcamp to establish a solid baseline awareness and understanding of key change execution principles, followed by deeper application-level instruction, coaching, hands-on application assignments and use of a SEF digital toolkit. Certification includes a focused module in the last Cohort session on sponsor-agent contracting to address the critical relationship between strategic change executive sponsors and the key individuals supporting them in change implementation.

    This rich learning journey* includes many aspects of graduate-level education where participants will:

    • Collaborate with peer learners in small teams to complete a series of application assignments

    • Participate in peer reviews with Conner Partners team inputs and guidance

    • Receive direct coaching through Conner Partners office hours

    • Participate in a final presentation to demonstrate competency and readiness

    • Receive a high touch one-on-one debrief and tailored development recommendations to focus continued growth

    * Total class time over the 3-month learning journey is approximately 6 days equivalent including the 2-day Realizing Major Change, or approximately 4 days equivalent for the certification journey for those participants that previously completed Realizing Major Change. Average time in-class per month is approximately 2 days.
